Favorite Recent Comic Book: All New Hawkeye

How was your Halloween ComicFest event?  I thought it went pretty well.  We combined the comic fest with our trunk or treat event.

What has been your best promotion or event? Overall our fundraisers are our best events.  Twice a year we have a ‘Superhero Saturday’ supported by many cosplayers which the customers love.  We donate 15% of the store’s sales to charity.  

What recent changes have you made in the store?  We used to have our checkout counter in the middle of the store and we recently moved its location to the side, which gave the employees better vision of the store and also provided some better merchandising opportunities.  

What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general?  Facebook has been good.  We also do some advertising and sponsor some local sports teams in our community.

What are your plans for the near future?  We would like to participate in more conventions outside of the store and host more events in the stores too.  

How did you choose your store name?  Well, there was lots and lots of discussion where we mulled over many possibilities.  We decided on Sci-Fi Factory because it encompassed a little bit of everything.  

What superpower would you most like to have?  I’d hate to just pick one, so how about super speed, morphing ability and telekinesis?  Those would be nice!
