Joss Whedon's fan-favorite television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer kicked off its eleventh season with a new Dark Horse Comics series this autumn, and now Buffy's former vampire lover returns with his own story in Angel Season 11 #1.

Haunted by visions of his past, fearing a connection to a world-spanning threat, Angel and the goddess Illyria have to uncover the secrets of his vampiric past for a solution. But the past may not be as immutable as has always believed, and it may be possible for Angel to change the past to save the future!
