How was your Halloween ComicFest event? Our customers really enjoy the event. They have said it is like Free Comic Book Day in the fall. We had a costume contest, prizes, and a storewide sale.
What has been your best promotion or event? Free Comic Book Day is always huge and we bring in some big name creators as well.
What recent changes have you made in the store? We have been adding more women’s apparel.
What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? We do cross-promotions with production companies. We give out free movie passes via Facebook contests and we also promote the store at the Calgary Comic Expo.
What are your plans for the near future? We would love to have more space if possible. We will also upgrade our point-of-sale system.
How did you choose your store name? My wife came up with both the name and the logo.
What superpower would you most like to have? Speed.
