The January edition of Diamond Comic Distributors’ monthly PREVIEWS catalog arrives in comic shops on December 27th and features comic books, graphic novels, toys, and other pop culture merchandise scheduled to go on sale beginning March 2018.

Free Comic Book Day — Get ready for Free Comic Book Day 2018 on Saturday, May 5th, as we reveal in this issue 2018's all-new batch of comic books and merchandise that will be offered for free in Comic Shops the world over!
Web Comics in Print — It’s tough to get started in comics. But thanks to the Internet, literally anyone can be a working cartoonist, posting their work – "web comics" – online for all to see. Sometimes, creators do eventually ride the wave of popularity set in motion by their online works and wind up with their work in print. Our theme this month, is Web Comics in Print, and we're paying tribute to the pioneering souls who started online, and then took their works to print!
On The Flip Side — Lion Forge Publishing has created Puerto Rico Strong, an all-new comics anthology that explores what it means to be Puerto Rican, and the diversity that exists within that concept, from today's most exciting Puerto Rican comics creators. All profits from the project will go towards disaster relief and recovery programs to support Puerto Rico. Also, Cristina Morán of Metro Comics in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, gives a report on the current situation on the ground in regards to Puerto Rico's comics community post-Hurrican Maria.
