Play The Game Read The Story is a REAL game, hobby, and comic book store located in the Carousel Center Mall in Syracuse, New York. They carry comic books, board games, graphic novels, toys, collectible card games, chess, role-playing games, hobby supplies, miniatures, war games, dice, action figures, books, trading card game singles, and much more!

Since 1998, the 7,000 sq. ft. store has touted special events lik in-store gaming, FCBD, Free Role Playing Day, Pre-release events, and local signings. Manager Chris Pollichemi will tell you that he is very pleased with the overall professional appearance of the store, as well as its consistent game schedule and staff.
With a monthly newsletter and a Point-of-Sale (POS) system in place, the store offers effective communication as well as a customer rewards loyalty program.
