How was your Halloween ComicFest event? It is growing each year. We bring in local artists and they do free sketches for our customers which are very popular.
What has been your best promotion or event? Free Comic Book Day for sure, though our 2nd anniversary sales event was also great!
What recent changes have you made in the store? We built bookshelves to house the increased number of hard covers we have been carrying.
What steps have you taken to expand your customer base or to reach out to individuals unfamiliar with your store or comics in general? We do quite a few local promotions and events such as Library Con. We also get some attention for our school raffle donations and we do a lot with social media.
What are your plans for the near future? We will put up more slatwall for better toy displays. We are also adding two more back issue bins that will match the ones we have and add more bookshelves for trade paperbacks.
How did you choose your store name? My area of the house growing up was the basement, so naturally it was the bat cave, but in the end I decided on The Comic Cave instead.
What superpower would you most like to have? Super Speed or telepathy. Both would be nice.
